Students from the Wrocław University of Technology created a Mars rover - an autonomous mobile research platform adapted to work in extremely difficult conditions. The creators of Scorpio Project got into the 2018 Canadian International Rover Challenge in Canada, where they took 8th place in the global competition between explorers from all over the world. The next stage of their journey was a visit to NASA headquarters in the USA where they presented their rover to specialists and also tested Scorpio on the Mini Mars Yard. They learned a lot about the projects implemented by JPL (Jet Propulsion Laboratory) and discussed their ideas with people with more experience in the construction of rovers. The Foundation gave them a donation to cover some costs of their trip to the United States.
